New position for Prof. Dr. Carmen Roch
Since February, Prof. Dr. Carmen Roch has been Professor of Palliative Medicine at the University Hospital of Würzburg.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Since February, Prof. Dr. Carmen Roch has been Professor of Palliative Medicine at the University Hospital of Würzburg. She also heads our palliative medicine department.
Carmen Roch is a specialist in anesthesiology, has additional qualifications in palliative medicine and special pain therapy, and is a trained ethics consultant in healthcare. Since 2017, she has worked in our interdisciplinary center for palliative medicine. Her research focuses on assessing symptoms and burdens in specific disease situations and deriving the best possible individual treatment from this assessment.
