Fenerbahçe's rowing team won!

The event, organized by the Turkish Rowing Federation at the boat facilities of Çukurova University (ÇÜ) on the shore of the Seyhan Reservoir, included 250 athletes from 21 clubs.

Following yesterday's qualifying races, the teams rowed to the final competitions.

After the last races, which took place in heavy rain, Fenerbahçe Sports Club finished in first place in both the men's and women's categories.

In the rowing races of the Senior Turkish Cup, Cevdet Ege Mutlu took first place in the U23 junior single sculls category, Halil Kaan Köroğlu and Alper Şevket Eren took first place in the double sculls category, Aydın İnanç Şahin and Aytimur Selçuk took first place in the pairs category, and Elis Özbay, Derin Kumuk, Emine Evra Elmalı and Irmak Fertuğ took first place in the four double sculls category.

In the PR2 Mix 2x category, Yiğit Doğukan Bozkurt and Merve Sezer took first place, while in the PR3 Mix 4+ category, Batuhan Taş, Nurcan Kocaman, Hazal Urun, Recep Tula and İskender Ünlü took the top spots.

Yavuz explained that the Seyhan Reservoir offers the most suitable courses in Turkey for rowing and sailing competitions, adding:

“We hope to welcome our teams from various disciplines and sports to Adana in the future and to host various championships and competitions here. We look forward to welcoming all the teams to Adana. We already feel the support of our federations and expect this support to increase further in the future.”

Governor Mustafa Yavuz, who frequently seeks contact with citizens, has now turned his attention to the neighborhoods where the heart of the Seyhan district beats.

Governor Mustafa Yavuz, who visited shop owners in the Hürriyet and Havuzlubahçe districts as well as on Saydam Street, met with great interest from the citizens.

During his visits, Governor Mustafa Yavuz listened to the concerns of the citizens and stated that Adana is strengthened by his citizen-oriented leadership style: “The deep-rooted atmosphere of unity and solidarity that characterizes the spirit of our city is a great inspiration and source of strength for our work at every meeting. Our top priority is to lead our city into a more peaceful and secure future and to preserve this sense of unity in all parts of Adana.
