The Türkiye-UK Financial Services Networking Gathering brought together over 100 senior leaders from the Turkish and international financial services communities. Hosted by Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy in London and the UK Department for Business and Trade, the invite-only event advanced bilateral dialogue in financial services.
Opening remarks were delivered by the Ambassador of Türkiye to the United Kingdom Koray Ertas, Investment and Finance Office Country Advisor Ersoy Erkazanci, UK Department for Business and Trade Inward Investment Head Zeynep Atay Oztekbas, and NAZALI Tax & Legal Servicesı Founding Partner Ersin NAZALI BSc, LLB, MSc, LLM-Avukatı. Representing the Investment and Finance Office, Country Advisor Enes Guzel, Unit Manager Kaan Masatçı, Ph.D., and Analyst Buse İlay Yıldız also attended the gathering.
In his address, Erkazancı emphasized the importance of transforming dialogue into tangible collaboration, noting London’s global financial leadership and the strategic relevance of ongoing Free Trade Agreement negotiations. He also underlined the Office’s expanding role in financial services, with a focus on green finance, fintech, participation finance, and the Istanbul Financial Center.
The gathering reinforced Türkiye’s position as the nexus of finance, advancing structured and result-oriented engagement between the two countries.
