Rethinking internationalization together
HOST pursues clear strategic priorities in its international activities, for example through defined focus regions and membership in the European University Alliance EUNICoast.
At the invitation of the International Office, 34 representatives from the faculties, administration and central institutions came together to gather and further develop perspectives, needs and concrete ideas in a comprehensive internationalization strategy.
The results are now being evaluated, and on this basis a strategy draft will be developed and submitted to the rectorate.
Stralsund University of Applied Sciences reports that this is a strong signal for internationalization in practice – conceived jointly, strategically bundled and further developed with a future-oriented approach.
