A Chemistry Show that Bangs - Long Night of Research

At almost 500 stations in Innsbruck, Kufstein and East Tyrol, you could experiment, ask questions and be amazed.

Press release from University of Innsbruck:

A chemistry show that bangs. A forest that tells stories. Thousands of people experiencing research up close - that was the Long Night of Research.

Universities, colleges and companies from all over Tyrol opened their doors to 15,000 people on Friday evening - and suddenly children stood next to physicists, families in front of robots, curious people in front of telescopes.

At almost 500 stations in Innsbruck, Kufstein and East Tyrol, you could experiment, ask questions and be amazed.

The University of Innsbruck was right in the middle of it all: with over 200 (participatory) stations, guided tours, live presentations and experiments spread across our university locations.

Thanks to everyone who made this evening possible: the nine Tyrolean universities, the participating companies and the Standortagentur Tirol for coordination.
