A new image for monument preservation!
The aim was to make the preservation of historical monuments an exciting topic for young people and to awaken their interest in it.

Yesterday, students from Wismar University of Applied Sciences presented their ideas and designs for the project “Image Campaign for Monument Protection” in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the State Office for Culture and Monument Preservation.
The aim was to make the preservation of historical monuments an exciting topic for young people and to awaken their interest in it.
Twelve students from semesters 4 to 12 worked on the project for about a year under the direction of Prof. Björn Kernspeckt.
Minister of Culture Bettina Martin: “The exhibits show new approaches that make monument protection tangible and at the same time illustrate how dynamic, young and modern monument protection can be.”
The exhibition “New for Old” can be seen until April 8th at the Schleswig-Holstein House in Schwerin.
