The 2nd Hamburg International Symposium HIS2 on Maternal Fetal Medicine. This year’s meeting has a special focus on fetal interventions, fetalsurgery, and postnatal outcomes.

It is my great pleasure to announce the 2nd Hamburg International Symposium HIS2 on Maternal Fetal Medicine. After the remarkable success of last year’s inaugural event, we are excited to host the symposium again this year.
This year’s meeting has a special focus on fetal interventions, fetalsurgery, and postnatal outcomes. I am delighted to welcome my co-chairs Konrad Reinshagen, Head of PediatricSurgery at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, and Irwin Reiss, Head of Neonatology at UKE. Together, we have developed a comprehensive program that covers many essential topics from prenatal diagnosis through intrauterine surgery and fetal interventions to immediaite postnatal care and long-term follow-up.
The preliminary program will be announced soon an registration is about to open. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Hamburg in October!
