Imagine: a fully circular economy in Limburg by 2050. That is precisely the goal of the ambitious project "Circular Economy Limburg 4 LIFE" (CEL4LIFE). The project was officially launched today at the provincial government building.
Twelve partners from Limburg are involved. Agreements have been reached for the next six years, and the focus in the coming months will be primarily on implementing the first concrete projects. This will be done not only with the partners but also with numerous regional stakeholders (including EU members).
Provincial Executive Board member Stephan Satijn: “With CEL4LIFE, we are strengthening our position as a progressive region. This project offers us the opportunity to build a sustainable future and a strong, innovative economy together with partners. In this way, we are creating not only ecological benefits but also new economic opportunities for Limburg.”
