New portal for municipalities in Zurich
the information portal „Zurich Municipalities in Figures“ (ZGZ)
The portal shows, for example, that the population in Schlieren is significantly younger on average than in Küsnacht. Conversely, Küsnacht has almost one and a half times as many doctors as Schlieren, even though Schlieren has a larger population. Population, medical practices – the diversity of topics is crucial. The ZGZ currently comprises around 80 key figures from nine thematic areas.
Particular attention is paid to the comparability of the key figures over time; some date back to the middle of the last century. This allows trends to be identified. For example, the population of Schlieren has doubled since 1962, but the largest increase occurred only after the turn of the millennium.
