Scientific and technological collaborations
During the meeting, the possibilities for cooperation between Turkey and Italy in the areas of science, technology, innovation, industry and investment were assessed.

The Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacir, and the Italian Minister of Enterprise and “Made in Italy”, Adolfo Urso, met on the occasion of the first meeting and signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding of the Turkish-Italian Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, Industry and Investment (STI³).
During the meeting, the possibilities for cooperation between Turkey and Italy in the areas of science, technology, innovation, industry and investment were assessed.
The Italian delegation was accompanied on their visit to the TÜBİTAK SPACE Campus by our Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü, and the President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın.
The work carried out in our centers and institutes was presented; in addition, consultations took place on the cooperation potential between the two countries in many areas, from biotechnology and health to artificial intelligence and the automotive industry, as well as space technologies and the defense industry.
