-Gökçen, who lived from 1913 to 2001, flew for 8,000 hours in her lifetime.

-With Atatürk's support, she entered the Civil Aviation School and flew her first motorized aircraft in 1936.

-Because of the flights she completed throughout her life, she was awarded the Murassa Medal No. 9, thus also writing herself into the history of world aviation.

The values ​​she brought to Turkish aviation and the inspiration she left behind will continue to light our way.
