Turkish War ships in Rotterdam
Fatma Ceren Yazgan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, shared her impressions of the first visit of the Turkish Navy to the Netherlands in almost thirty years:
The pride and honor of welcoming Turkish War ships in Rotterdam was ours yesterday. The dock was full of Rotterdamers who are known to appreciate the glamour of ships. I could feel that they were as impressed as I was.

This visit is a first by Turkish Navy to the Netherlands after almost three decades. TCG Anadolu is Türkiye’s first locally built amphibious assault ship and helicopter carrier.

Before anchoring in Rotterdam yesterday, the Commanders and the crew had participated with great success in the NATO “Steadfast Dart 2026” exercise. For the first time, NATO saw a naval UCAV conducting a live-fire exercise when the Baykar TB3, flying from the TCG ANADOLU, launched MAM-L guided munitions on a floating target.
„Together we are strong“, said Fatma Ceren Yazgan.
