Visit to the Ministry of Finance of Schleswig-Holstein
The visit focused on the role of the State Audit Office in the independent financial control of the state, the planned assumption of liabilities for the university hospital, and the current and future challenges for the state budget.

Yesterday I had the honor of welcoming the new President of the Schleswig-Holstein Court of Auditors, Dr. Silke Torp, to her inaugural visit at the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Finance. She was accompanied by her Senate colleague Dr. Matthias Badenhop and the head of the audit team, Andreas Krüger; State Secretary Oliver Rabe represented our side.
We discussed the role of the State Audit Office in the independent financial control of the state, the planned assumption of liabilities for the university hospital, and the current and future challenges for the state budget.
The early involvement of the State Audit Office in important financial and structural policy projects is particularly important to both of us – and that is exactly what we will continue to do.
I am therefore looking forward to a good and trusting collaboration with Dr. Torp and her team!
