A strong voice for educational research from Rostock

Professor Falk Radisch, Director of the Institute for School Pedagogy and Educational Research at the University of Rostock, was elected to the Council for Social and Economic Data (RatSWD) on March 30, 2026.

As one of ten elected scientists, he will represent the interests of empirical research at the federal level. The Council for Social and Economic Data (RatSWD) advises the federal government and the states on the expansion of the research data infrastructure, a key component for future-proof science.

The appointment will take place in July 2026 for a three-year term.
