Safer transport through the Transport Safety Act
The Transport Security Act has reached a new stage: the decree of 30 March 2026 introduces new measures to prevent violence in transport and improve passenger safety.

"On 30 March, an important step was taken in the implementation of the law on security in transport, which I initiated as a senator and had adopted once in the Government", said Minister of Transport, Philippe TABAROT.

The Transport Security Act has reached a new stage: the decree of 30 March 2026 introduces new measures to prevent violence in transport and improve passenger safety.
The means of action of security agents, including more than 4,000 Groupe SNCF and RATPgroup agents, are strengthened to enable them to intervene more quickly and effectively to combat new forms of insecurity.
