The digital vehicle registration certificate for companies
There's news about the i-Kfz app! Two important features come into effect today – for businesses and private individuals.
The Federal Ministry of Transport explains the reason for this:
The digital vehicle registration certificate is now also available for legal entities. Companies and other organizations can therefore manage their company fleets and commercial vehicles more easily and efficiently via the i-Kfz app.
Store all vehicle documents digitally in one place – so none get lost.
Assign a vehicle to an employee instantly without having to physically hand over the registration certificate.
Keep track of the next mandatory vehicle inspection date for each vehicle.
Have a clear overview of all information at all times.
A real upgrade for fleet management!
Also of interest to private individuals: If you don't have a national identity card with an activated eID function (online ID), you can now have a personal QR code issued at the vehicle registration office and use it to identify yourself in the i-Kfz app. This makes registration even easier!
