Franck Leroy
President of the Grand Est region
Visit to the Axon Cable Group in Montmirail.
This visit says a lot about what French industry should look like, said the president of the Grand Est region.

Franck Leroy explained:
Founded in 1985 in the Marne region, the company now wires NASA's Mars rovers, equips the CARMAT artificial heart, and generates 70% of its revenue internationally – all while maintaining 750 jobs in a rural area of the Grand Est region. In short, it's a successful industry.
Besides the technological excellence, I particularly welcomed one bold decision: the investment of 4.5 million euros in improving working conditions and employee health. This isn't about "comfort," it's about strategy. You can't build a world champion without considering your employees.

The region supported this project with €120,000. These are exactly the kinds of investments we need: economic performance, innovation, and quality of life in the workplace.
With our future industrial pact, we will set the course for the year 2035: productive sovereignty, accelerated transformation processes, and attractiveness of industrial jobs.
Many thanks to Joseph Puzo, Christelle Olivie and all the teams for their efforts.
