Meeting at the Federal Chancellery on the topic of civil protection
Together with the President of the German Red Cross, Hermann Gröhe, Secretary General of the German Red Cross, Christian Reiter, met with the Head of the Federal Chancellery, Thorsten Frei, for a discussion.
The focus of the extensive exchange of views was civil protection. The German Red Cross (DRK) is calling for a genuine and sustained effort in this area. At the same time, the DRK itself is making its contribution.
Christian Reuter explained:
In Luckenwalde, we are building a state-of-the-art civil protection center to be able to act quickly both nationally and internationally in the event of a crisis.
